Thanksgiving Food Drive Nov 16 - 25
Please help us fill St. Clare Clinic’s Food Pantry. Bring in canned or non-perishable foods to the box inside our lobby from November 16-25. Bonus: donate November 23-25 and you may take one free ripped, spin, yoga or water class! Free class offer good for members or non-members. See current food pantry needs.

Save a Puppy for Santa!
Join us for our free community event on Sunday, December 6! We will be reading with dogs from Power Paws, meeting dogs and puppies available for adoption from Alsip to the Rescue, and watching the Santa Paws movie with popcorn! Your admission? Bring dog food, dog toys, blankets or towels for donation. Learn all about it here and RSVP today!
December Blood Drive
Make an appointment to donate blood after your workout on Monday December 14th. Heartland Blood Center will be at the Y from 8am - noon accepting donations. Make an appointment at the front desk or online with Heartland Blood Center.

A 5k and 2K run that benefits the scholarship program at the Southlake Branch YMCA. Did you know that the Southlake Y doesn’t turn anyone away for the inability to pay? Money raised from this event goes to the YMCA scholarship program. Those scholarships are given to low income individuals and families so they can participate in programs and membership.
This community event has steadily grown in popularity and we're expecting 2,000 runners at the start line at Crown Point's historic downtown courthouse square. Register the whole family for this fun event and enjoy the post-race party on the square!
Awards given to Top Female and Male Overall; first, second & third place finishers in each age division for the 5K run; and Overall. Plus, awards given to the elementary school with the most participants!
On or before March 21:
- 5K Registration for 11 and older: $20
- 5K Registration for 10 and under: $10
- 2K Registration for 11 and older: $12
- 2K Registration for 10 and under: $8
- 5K Registration for 11 and older: $25
- 5K Registration for 10 and under: $15
- 2K Registration for 11 and older: $15
- 2K Registration for 10 and under: $10
Complete the registration form and mail or bring it to the Southlake Family YMCA.
The course starts and ends at Crown Point's historic downtown square. The 2K run will stay on Main Street. The 5K run takes you through neighborhoods with a finish on the west side of the court house. There will be water stops on the 5K course at both mile markers. All streets will be closed to traffic during the race.
Friday April 10 from Noon - 6 p.m. at the Southlake Y
Race day at the southeast corner of the square from 8 - 9:30 a.m.
Race Day Parking
Parking is available at Wheeler Middle School, St. Mary’s Church, Crown Point city streets and municipal lots. Race will be held rain, snow or shine.
